Formatting OK?
Just a question: How is the formatting of this page at the moment?
It looks fine to me through Opera but with I.E the sidebar is bellow the main blog postings. Is this just my copy of I.E or do other people see the same? Also how is firefox.
If you could leave a comment about this that would be great. Cheers, Calvin.

(also does anyone else here love the blogger spell-check? It brilliant, it doesn't contain the word Blog! or Firefox, lol )

Works fine here on Safari, OS X 10.4.4
I use Firefox at home to view your site and that is fine. I'm in work viewing it in IE right now, and the sidebar is below the posts as you say. If I view a single article the sidebar is fine however! You may want to look at the differences between the two. You might just need to increase the width of the css div that contains the two sub-divs.
Spellbound is a good spell-checker extension for Firefox if you don't like the blogger checker.
I can't find the words to describe how much I like Firefox and all its wonderful extensions. If you can't fix your problems, tell you users to switch to Firefox! You'll be doing them a favour.
if anyone can look at the source code and identify the problem, or a potential problem that would be great, i cant work it out.

Yes it;s below all your posts. I was wondering where it had gone!
:)

And I am using I.E by the way
It`s nuts! I deleted the html in template and replaced it with a backup. It made no difference! and thats after several refreshes to make sure it wasnt a cache effect.
It makes no sense to me...and its VERY annoying.
Suggestions wellcome if anyone can help!
The problem is with the css rather than the html. The content div isn't wide enough for the main and the sidebar. I'll send you an e-mail!
I'm back! After some deliberation, I've decided you should set the width of your #main div to 645px rather than 650px.
i made the suggested change but to no avail...
#main {
width:645px;
float:left;
background:#fff no-repeat left bottom;
margin:15px 0 0;
padding:0 0 10px;
color:#000;
font-size:97%;
line-height:1.5em;
}
thanks for the suggestion
though
Generally, I like the format.
I use a Firefox browser, and have increased screen resolution (due to bad eyesight). Your page width, as a result it greater than my screen width, and I have to scroll to read part of it. It is not too bad a problem, but you might use one of the accessability tools to check out the entire design.
Thanks john,
I have the i.e problems sorted now so it looks fine on my computer on the 3 browsers i have (very rarely use i.e) i`m sure the website will display abnormally for some people. I changed the defaults and i`m only bluffing my way through this blogging thing. I hope its usable and not to absurd, i`m happy aslong as thats the case!
