Renewable Energy World, June 1st Update.


Highlights:

• 1. Friends of the Earth Canada sue the govornment for breaking international law by abandoning its Kyoto targets. They alledge that this is an offence under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act.
  
• 2. The UK govornment has released its latest Energy White Paper.
  
• 3. The latest offshore Mega-Windfarm planned in the UK has been formally announced, a 350 turbine project, the scale of construction if aproved would be world beating. Offshore wind utilises the worlds largsest turbines: anywhere from 3-5MW per generating unit being expected for future projects.
