London City Flash Mob - Stop Airport Expansion!
Flash Mob!
Flash Mob!
- No Expansion of City Airport
- Wednesday 8th October
- 5.45 pm (on the dot!)
- Newham Town Hall
Newham Council will decide whether to give the go-ahead to a 50% increase in the number of flights using City Airport.
Newham has a history of supporting expansion
Flights numbers would jump from 80,000 to 120,000 a year:
· Horrendous noise for local communities
· More air pollution
· Bad for climate change
· All the flights are short-haul flights
The Mayor, Boris Johnson, supports expansion
Join us!
We’ll have some t-shirts to give out on the day
Or just wear any red t-shirt
It will be all over by 6pm when we can go into the meeting or get a drink or snack nearby.

Newham Town Hall is NOT in Stratford, that is the old town hall. It is in East Ham, corner of Barking Road & High Street South.
