Climate Camp Scotland is Underway!
Yes, the Camp for Climate Action in Scotland is up and running, and needs you to come as soon as you can!
We said that the camp would be somewhere in the Firth of Forth, but the recent occupation of a soon-to-be open cast coal site by the Mainshill Solidarity Camp has provided us with a beautiful site that is in need of support and solidarity from movements such as this one.
There is no shortage of targets in this area, we are surrounded by open cast coal mines and other infrastructure and within easy reach of targets across the central belt of Scotland.
At the moment Climate Camp is busy with people building compost loos, grey water systems, cooking food and getting to know the local community.
We need your help to defend the trees and stop this site being turned into an open cast coal mine and contributing to climate change!
How to get to the camp:
- Nearest Train Station: Lanark
- Call the Info number for help with travel and shuttles from Lanark train
- station!

For anyone who plans to be in Ireland later in August, Climate Camp Ireland will be running their very own camp in County Offaly from 15th - 23rd August.
Thanks,
Dave

If you want to change it make it more expensive to ruin it.
Hope we can also organize a Climate Camp here in the Philippines
I agree with this video about how relaxed the protest movement and the public are about climate change. We should be acting like saving the earth really matters:
