Coal Plans in Scotland Shelved
A little bit of good news form Scotland. Plans for a new coal power plant at Hunterston have been shelved. This is at least in part due to campainging by Christian Aid and others who have consistently pointed out the difficulty of squaring coal power expansion with Scotlands ambitious climate targets.
